Small Business Owner

Ramona is the Managing Director at Globacon Research, an innovative market research and technology firm specializing in big data analytics, polling, text message campaigns and call centre operations in seven languages. Key area of expertise is in political campaigns at every level of government. We identify the candidates support base and mobilizing them to vote resulting in winning campaigns.

Political Campaigns

Ramona worked on municipal, provincial and federal campaigns by conducting all the Voter ID and Get Out the Vote operations through her in-house call centre and also the polling, texting and robocall campaigns. Ramona also worked for the Ontario PC Party campaign as Senior Communications Advisor.

Media Personality

In her media role, since 2014 Ramona cohosts a successful current affairs and political talk show “Various Views” every Tuesdays on TIN TV and Radio airing in 15 countries. Ramona also hosted the “People’s Perspective” on Rogers TV, “The Real Talk” on TAG TV, spokesperson for Ontario Proud on Facebook and she is an occasional guest panelist on Jerry Agar Show on NewsTalk 1010.

Telecoms Executive

From 2007 - 2013, Ramona worked internationally in the UK, Germany, Malaysia and UAE as a telecommunications executive specializing in enterprise mobile solutions and FinTech. Her pervious clients were Viber, Skype and Telegram. In 2013, Ramona introduced International Mobile Top-up to the Canadian market through TELUS mobile subscribers, allowing them to bill their mobile account via text message to send money as credit to another person’s mobile phone in a different country within seconds.

Education & Experience

In 2004 - 2006, Ramona worked for the federal government at the Correctional Service Canada NHQ in Ottawa as Project Officer focused on employability programs for incarcerated and newly released offenders. Her role at CSC began from a field placement in 2003 while attending Carleton University where she graduated with a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice, Law and a Diploma in Police Foundations at Seneca College.

Community Work

Ramona is also a board member for COHAN (Community Oriented Health Advisory Network), a charitable organization that works with seniors on the management and prevention of incurable diseases. Ramona is also a committee member on the Governance Committee at CHAT (Community & Home Assistance to Seniors) a not-for-profit organization that enhances health, wellness and independence for senior citizens.
